Low-income housing: Can I apply?

Housing that is low income or affordable housing, could be define by the federal standards as housing that is not more than 30 percent of their total annual earnings for the residents. The qualifications for the residency is that a tenant may not annually earn more than 60 percent of an area’s median income is a low income. A resident in Portland, equates into a maximum income of $23,750 per year in order to qualify for low-income housing.
