A Short History

Temporary housing, particularly condominium ownership, began in America in the 1960s. Condominium units are part of one building wherein a unit owner is entitled ownership of a certain percent of the common elements and facilities. The condominium concept answered for the concern of suburban living, particularly of people who are single and have no children.
